Hello! My name is Mitch Boucher, and I am a 20-year-old Baroque composer. Mainly I compose for keyboard instruments. I have been playing the pipe organ and piano since 2008, and I recently took up harpsichord lessons.
The music of J.S. Bach is a huge influence on me, however I am familiar with the works of Vivaldi, Telemann, Handel, and a few others. My main purpose as a composer is to wide spread the Baroque style for all to hear, and to inspire young composers.
My purpose is to bring about the Baroque style of music into modern society. This would include writing music in the style and performing works by the Baroque masters----all with the intent of spreading its glory, making it available for all who wish to hear.
